Site History:
Life: October 15th, 2003 - Present
Now, as you can probably infer, much has changed since Transcendence was in its infancy. Its original pages had a baby-blue background, hot pink links that turned purple after you clicked them, and no images to speak of. Plus, the pages had little (if any) navigation properties and no sense of page layout. But it was my baby, my brainchild and it was beautiful to me because it was the best that my mind and my hands could render.
As I grew in my knowledge of HTML, web design, and graphic design, Transcendence grew with me--I moved from a straight-out page design to a three-column design, then discovered iframes and have designed iframe layouts for the site ever since. Here was where I cut my teeth in the web design world, where I learned by trial and error.
Thanks to this site, I am the webmaster I am today, and I don't think I'll ever shut it down because it is so special to me. And I have been lucky to have had such a wonderful audience so far, and look ever forward to the future.
